I've been trying to keep a real journal for ages and my sheer laziness never ceases to astound me. My 11 month anniversary of being in Australia occurred on October 2nd. The countdown is on. I am less than a month away from my 1 year anniversary in Oz, also known as "The day that Butterfly gets kicked out of Oz if she doesn't get her visa approved."

Anybody want to sponsor me? I'm a pretty cool gal. I'm very petite and hardly take up any space at all. :) Really, I feel it is an investment for Australia to let me stay. I mean, all my income will eventually be going towards the purchase of butterfly things here anyway. Make that: butterfly things and Indian food.

Today was another gorgeous yet extremely hot sunny Sydney day. I worked late last night, getting up the DarkMonth site, which you should all check out. We worked long and hard on that baby. Go to the site, Chosen One! I walked home from work last night and it was bizarre. Very smoky and hazy from all the bushfires. You could smell the smoke the whole way home.

Tomorrow I vow to practice the guitar and work on songs. Stay tuned to see if I actually do it!
