Wow. It's been over a week since I've written. I've been a very bad bad butterfly. I just plain suck. This is the longest I've ever gone without blogging! I guess the main reason why I haven't written lately is that some of my crazy daily adventures, while fun, aren't really suitable for this forum. Ummmm, not really "appropriate", if ya know what I mean. *Major winking action*

Let's catch up: Thursday, November 16th - Went out with Jon and Odile and their friends to an Irish pub. Good time for the most part. I danced way too much and was way too sore and tired the next day. It's not cute to go to work on no sleep. My boss actually told me I looked like shit and complimented me on the bags under my eyes. Lovely. I looked like ass.

Friday, November 17th: Still not having slept since Wednesday, I went out with Gail to see some bands at Northpoint Tavern in North Sydney. The first band was alright, the second band absolutely shit me (it was horrifying to watch a guy practically my father's age initiate random moshing...he even "stage dove" off a foot high platform! Shocking!) The third and main band were The Sick Puppies. They were sic! (My first actual usage of sic!) They were pretty hard, but amazing to watch and awesomely tight. They were great musicians, very punk, very loud, and yet I was totally falling asleep due to...well, lack of sleep. Gail and I were beat, so we called it an early night around 1am.

Saturday, November 18th: I actually didn't sleep in till oblivion like I thought. I was awfully tired so took it easy and went with Heather to Adrienne's for a spectacular massage. Those classes are well worth the money. It was another rainy day in Sydney (it officially rained for over a week non-stop.) Adrienne's place was really cool, homey, with lots of candles. She has a new massage table. I nearly fell asleep while Heather got her massage. It was great! Heather and I walked to the far end of Glebe Pt. Road, off which Adrienne lives. We'd never been down that far before. It was like a whole nother world! There comes a certain point on the road where suddenly all the shops and bakeries and cafes stop and it's just residential. It's very peaceful and classy (whereas the rest of the road is more cool). It reminded me a lot of Brighton in Boston.
